Autoclaves are special equipment categorized under pressure vessels. Their working principle is to use pressurized saturated steam for rapid and reliable disinfection and sterilization. They are mainly used for the disinfection and sterilization of medical devices, dressings, glassware, solution culture media, and other items.
1.A safety valve is a type of safety protection valve. It opening and closing components stay in a normally closed state under the action of external force. When the pressure of the medium in the equipment or pipeline rises and exceeds the specified value, it will open automatically, and prevent the medium pressure in the pipeline or equipment from exceeding the specified value by discharging the medium to the outside of the system.
2.The pressure gauge is a safety device of the autoclave. It monitors the temperature and pressure inside the chamber in real time, and the chamber lid can only be opened when the temperature and pressure are at safe levels, ensuring the safety of the user.
Recommendations:
⑴．After the sterilization process is completed, the chamber lid must not be opened until the pressure gauge returns to zero.
⑵.Regular maintenance and upkeep of the autoclave can extend its service life, reduce the probability of malfunctions, minimize potential safety hazards, and improve sterilization efficiency.

3. Heating element is an electric heating device used to heat the medium inside it.
   Recommendations:
   Clean it once a month. Remove the water level plate and check if the surface of the heating tube is clean. If there is dirt, gently scrub it with a soft-bristled brush, rinse it with water, and then drain the dirty water. When scrubbing, be careful not to move or damage the temperature control switch.
   4.Water Level : Ion-inductive water level sensing (senses via the electrical conductivity of water)
   Recommendations:
   ⑴. Wipe it with a soft cloth once a week to remove dirt adhering to the surface of the sensor;
   ⑵. Attention should be paid to keeping the water level sensor clean. If dirt adheres to the sensor surface, it may easily cause false alarms or even lead to operational shutdown.
   5.Seal ring: Within the operating pressure and a certain temperature range, it shall have good sealing performance, and the sealing performance shall automatically improve as the pressure increases.
   Recommendations:
   Check whether the sealing gasket is damaged before each use. If it is damaged, it must be replaced immediately. Clean the surface of the sealing gasket regularly to remove dirt. For cleaning, a small amount of detergent can be added and wiped with a damp cloth.
   6.Cooling Fan: Accelerates the cooling process after sterilization is completed.
4. Temperature sensor: A portable item thermometer used to monitor the temperature at different locations inside the chamber.
   Recommendations:
   ⑴.When not in use: Wind up the item thermometer and place it on its dedicated holder (the winding diameter must be larger than 100mm);
   ⑵.When in use: Be careful not to let the chamber lid or basket press against the item thermometer.
