Common Error Codes, Causes and Solutions for Zealway Autoclave

During the operation of the autoclave, operators frequently encounter and urgently need to resolve error codes. Rapid and accurate fault diagnosis and timely troubleshooting are essential for instrument operators.

  1. E01
    Possible Cause: The chamber door is not locked.
    Solutions:
    1.GWA/GF Series: Check whether the chamber door is tightly closed and engaged.
    2.GR Series: Verify that the handle is fully pulled into position.
    3.GI Series: Confirm that the handle is fully rotated into position.
  2. E04
    Possible Cause: The chamber door is not locked.
    Solutions:
    1.GWA/GF Series: Check if the chamber door is tightly pressed and engaged.
    2.GR Series: Check whether the handle is pulled fully into position.
    3.GI Series: Verify that the handle is rotated to the locking position.
  3. E10
    Possible Cause: Abnormal events such as power failure occur during sterilization.
    Solutions: Shortpress the “STOP” key to clear the error code, open and close the door again, then restart the sterilization cycle.
  4. E15
    Possible Causes:
    1.Insufficient water level in the sterilization chamber.
    2.Water conductivity lower than 10 μs/cm.
    3.Dirt or air leakage in the exhaust solenoid valve.
    Solutions:
    1.Add water into the sterilization chamber.
    2.Add a small amount of tap water into the sterilization chamber.
    3.Dismantle and inspect the spool of the exhaust solenoid valve (to be performed by aftersales engineers).
  5. n03
    Possible Causes:
    1.Invalid system time.
    2.Flat battery.
    3.Timekeeping battery depleted after longterm instrument inactivity.
    Solutions:
    1.Reset the system time.
    2.Replace the battery.
    3.Allow the instrument to stand by for one hour before use after prolonged inactivity.
  6. n06
    Possible Cause: Chamber door not locked upon cycle startup. Solutions: Relock the sterilization chamber door.
  7. n8
    Possible Cause: Water tank is short of water.
    Solutions: Place the water inlet pipe on the right side of the instrument into water, then press the “WATER ADDING” key to fill the water tank.
  8. n09
    Possible Cause: The filter element of the biosafetymodel autoclave has reached its service life cycle count.
    Solutions: Replace the biosafety filter element.
  9. n11
    Possible Causes:
    1.Contaminated waterlevel sensor.
    2.Dirty water inside the sterilization chamber.
    3.Chamber water has not been replaced for more than two weeks.
    Solutions: Clean the waterlevel sensor and sterilization chamber, and drain all water from the chamber.
