I. Equipment maintenance
1.Power off the equipment and open the front cover.
2.Ensure the equipment is powered off and cooled down before maintenance.
3.Remove the water level plate and clean it. (Models with a chamber volume ≥110L are standard-equipped with a water level plate removal tool. One end of the tool is for taking out the water level plate, and the other end fitted with a silicone brush facilitates cleaning of the chamber, water level sensor and heating tube.)
4.Cleaning of sterilization chamber: Clean the sterilization chamber regularly to remove limescale and debris. Use a handled brush to clean the bottom of the chamber. Do not apply excessive force to avoid damaging the electric heating tube and temperature control switch.
Recommendation: Clean once a week.
5.Cleaning of water level sensor: Keep the water level sensor clean. Dirt attached to the sensor surface may cause false alarms or even equipment shutdown.
Recommendation: Wipe the sensor surface with a soft cloth once a week to remove contaminants.
6.Cleaning of electric heating tube
Recommendation: Clean once a month. Check the surface of the electric heating tube. If dirt is present, gently scrub with a soft brush or scouring pad. Take care not to shift or damage the temperature control switch during scrubbing.

  1. Prepare a bucket, open the drain valve to drain all water from the sterilization chamber, then close the drain valve. Fill the chamber with purified water and drain it again. Repeat 2–3 times to thoroughly flush contaminants out of the chamber.
  2. Gasket maintenance Inspect the gasket for damage. Replace it immediately if damaged. Regularly clean dirt off the gasket surface. A small amount of detergent may be used for cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth or scouring pad.
Recommendation: Inspect the gasket before each use and clean it once a week.
  3. Cleaning of equipment exterior and chamber lid Gently wipe the outer surface of the equipment and chamber lid with a soft cloth.
    Recommendation: Clean once a week.
  4. Drainage of pre-chamber water tank: Check the water level of the pre-chamber water tank. If the water reaches the HIGH mark, drain part of the water. Retain approximately 5 cm of water at the tank bottom to facilitate steam condensation.
    II. Equipment inspection & maintenance
1.Earth leakage circuit breaker inspection Press the test button of the earth leakage circuit breaker. If the breaker trips, it works normally. If not, switch off the breaker and contact the distributor.
    Recommendation: Inspect once a month.
  5. Safety valve functional test Log into the user administrator menu and run the safety valve test program. If the safety valve fails to open for venting when temperature exceeds the maximum background operating temperature (varies with altitude), the safety valve is defective. Stop the test immediately and contact the distributor.
Recommendation: Perform the test once a month; send the safety valve to the local special equipment inspection institute for calibration every year.
  6. Periodic calibration of pressure gauge Send the pressure gauge to the local special equipment inspection institute for verification every six months.
Recommendation: Keep one spare set of pressure gauge and safety valve.
Regular maintenance of the autoclave can extend its service life, reduce failure probability, mitigate potential safety hazards and improve sterilization efficiency.
